Sanders

Sanders are mainly used in finish carpentry. A belt sander can be useful for open beams as you will want to prepare the wood before you put it up. It is much easier to sand on a pair of horses that when it up in a ceiling. The last open beam project involved 40 beams and a lot of sanding. Jack used a Porter Cable 4x24 belt sander and literally removed about 200lbs. of saw dust.

A palm sander can be useful for finish and we will have full reports on sanders soon including belt sanders, palm sanders, table sanders and specialty sanders for all applications.
